COSIMO SESTI DESIGN
CosimoSestiDesign is an awarded architecture studio founded in 1998 by Cosimo Sesti, born London 1972 ed. Architectural Association and the Prince of Wales Institute of Architecture and Paloma Barcella, Architect born Rome 1970 ed. South Bank University, London and Politecnico di Milano. The practice is now based in Tuscany after many years in London and Milan. It's founders have exhibited at the Prague Biennale and were finalists for the Italian Pool Awards 2011. The studio has completed projects in locations as diverse as Capri, Tuscany, Marrakech, and the Philippines for public and private clients, including Christopher Gibbs, Marella Caracciolo, Alan Rickman and the American School of Tangier.
As an architectural, interior, landscape and swimming pool design studio, it aims at the seamless integration of a building into its natural surroundings. Drawing from a range of diverse skills from architecture and master planning to furniture and fabric design the approach is based on attention to detail, integrated design, harmony and proportions. All projects involve close collaboration with the clients, the potential of each place and the local craftspeople.
